My CSP is getting ready to hit the 1 year mark and I wil need to pay the annual fee. I am heading abroad for work in January, so I really want a card that's good for traveling and has no foreign fee. So I either want to just keep the CSP and not apply for the CSR, or PC the CSP to FU and then app for the CSR. I will be traveling quite a bit while I'm abroad, so I think I can use up the travel credit quite easily and I will have no issue reaching the $4K spend in 3 months as I use my CC for nearly all bills/expenses.
Do you think I have a good shot at being approved? Part of me thinks I may have too much credit already extended to me and could be denied based on that. My amount of inquiries scares me a little as well. What do you think? Should I just forget about it, pay my annual fee for the CSP and move on?
Any input is greatly appreciated.
Another thing worth noting is that I plan on buying a house within the next year and a half to two years. This may come into play, not sure how much the app would matter that far down the road.
Thanks!
Your chances at being approved are very high. Dont think you have anything to worry about

+1 would agree.. Very good chance for an approval
Thanks! Now I just need to wait until November when my CSP is 12 months old and I can do a PC. I am kind of surprised that the limit is only 10K when my CSP is already at $10.6K, but then again maybe they see that I already have a fair amount of credit extended to me for my profile?
Either way, I'll bump it up to atleast $15K when I do the PC.
Or maybe I could try and recon now for a higher limit?
