Totally didn't think I was going to get approved for this seeing as Chase just raised my Freedom CL from $300 to $1000. But I logged into my Chase account this evening to payoff the balance on my Freedom and underneath it was information on the Slate. CL is $1000 as well.
I now have 0% BT card to use! And I know just the balance to transfer. Plus I am looking forward to watching that EX FICO score while in the garden. ![]()
Congrats on your surprise approval!

Have you taken a look at Capital One yet? Looking at your profile, I would think the QuickSilver could find a place and it will likely give your your highest CL. Venture One will give you a higher CL probably plus a better bonus, but less useful in the long run unless you PC it to a QuickSilver later.
I've taken a look at Capital One but I'm not sure how I feel about the prequals and how well they reflect my credit. In terms of the QS, I already have two cash back cards, abet only 1%, with rotating categories and now the BoA Travel Rewards card with 1.5 points earned per dollar. I guess I am also concerned that the limit I get isn't going to be that high.
How long have you had the Freedom before aquiring the Slate?
The Freedom is my oldest card. I've had it since 2011. Up until a couple of weeks ago, I was still at my original SL of $300 when I requested the CLI which was approved upon recon.
Congrats on the approval!
it's amazing how chincy Chase can be.
Congrats..
