Chase auto cli, wow!

Opened a Chase freedom unlimited in June with scores in the mid 600’s. Credit limit of $3300. Used it a bunch until about three weeks ago when I got an offer for the Sapphire preferred on the Chase website. I applied for that one with scores in the 670’s and was approved for $10k. I paid off the freedom card and am using the Sapphire card to get the bonus offer. I was checking my balances on Chase app and saw my freedom card had a $2500 increase to $5800! No asking required, no pulls, no nothing other than paying my card weekly since June and reporting a 1-2% utilization. Thanks, Chase!

Congrats on the unrequested increase. Chase bumped my CSP from 7k to 10k out of the blue, as far as I can tell they never even notified me. I saw it on CK when my util dropped a little unexpectedly. OTOH, I have Slate (6.5k) and Amazon (10k) cards from them that I've had for years, maybe a decade, and nothing there. The big difference seems to be that the Slate and Amazon are pretty close to maxed out and have been for a while, while the Sapphire jumps around from zero around 35%, mostly for reimbursed work travel. My Fico is about 730 and my overall utilization is about 35% on all cards with a total CL of 90k.

It's always nice when Chase gives CLI's out of the blue.

AFAIK there's not much rhyme or reason when they do.

All you have to do to get my attention is say the words 'Chase' and 'CLI' in the title and I'm already excited.  Congrats on the auto CLI!
