Congrats. Before I upgraded to the Reserve, the CSP served as my workhorse for years. You'll enjoy it!
Sucks most of their products suck... 😠
Congrats on your approval!!
Huge congrats!

A few minutes ago, I want searching for banks who you can check pre-qual status with online, and even though I also had a recent charge-off with Chase, I decided to check anyways (since there would be no inquiry hit, so no harm no foul). Full disclosure, I do bank with them (2 checking accounts), and had a car loan years ago that was in good standing. But I only settled my charged-off credit card with them 4 months ago!
Anyways, the pre-qual page showed that I was pre-qualified for a Freedom and a Saphire Preferred. I was blown away! Went ahead and applied for the Sapphire Preferred, and they gave me an instant approval for $8,400! That's more than double my highest card right now!
Congrats on the CSP approval!

LOL ... I absolutely concur!
I didn't say they had good banking products.
I said they love customers who have multiple banking relationships with them!
I have 5 Chase credit cards but I don't touch their banking accounts.
There are much better deals out there.
By far, the best checking and savings accounts are usually with credit unions.
And by far, the best savings accounts are online-only type accounts.
I have Goldman-Sachs Marcus money market savings account that pays 2.25% return, better than most CD's you can find.
Congratulations on approval #2!
I think the banking relationship helps Chase say yes. I parked a good chunk of money in Chase and became a private client in the process, scores are low 600's due to a spike in utlization (long and very sad story) so utlization in the upper 80 percent. Because I was private client and hadn't applied for any new credit for about 2 years I pulled the trigger and applied for the Chase Sapphire Reserve card and was shocked to get an approval for $48,500 SL. No chance I get that approval without the banking relationship. Paid down all of my cards and combined with a nice jump on my total limits for about 90k to 138K I am hoping for a nice bump in scores.
Great work and congrats on overcoming what can be a tough hurddle.
Yeehaw, just 30 days after I received and activated my CSP (and CFU), I've already earned 80,000 UR points! 60k was from the SUB of course, but 20k are just from "everyday" spending. Already paid both cards in full. At this rate, I'm on track to earn well over 200k points every year on these cards, enough for a couple good vacations Maybe closer to 150k once my 3% promo is done on the CFU, but stil... How (and why) did I ever go this long without using points cards?!?
congrats & nice SL!
