Citi Bank starting CL 😏 need advice!

I applied for CitiBank (1st card) Prestige and was approved .....but only for $5000.  On an average month I spend anywhere from $5000-$7500 on travels and business expenses.  I have multiple cards all ranging around $15,000-$20,000 with a credit utilization of 3%.  It was pretty disappointed as I have very strong credit, high income and low DTI.  

Anyone know if I can get this raised or had luck calling to get it raised right after applying for it?? I don't feel like maxing out a credit card and than making a payment etc multiple times each month. I'd rather have a credit line of $15k and be able to make one payment per cycle.   I know I should be happy I got approved but even my Best Buy Citi card has a higher credit limit lol.....🥺 Any phone numbers or insight would be greatly appreciated.

You can call and ask for a higher limit. Be aware that it WILL be another HP if you do.

@Anonymous  Congrats on approval. As someone stated you can call and request a manaul credit limit increase it will be another HP and they will only give you up to an extra 5K. No matter the income or credit now im sure if you bank with Citi and have like a Private Banker they probably have some work around.
