So I lied last week when I said I was done getting new cards till next year😒 I originally applied for this card in June after it was released and was surprised when I was declined. But I had just been approved for another card the same month and had opened another 2 cards with in a year. Then I saw other people with excellent credit profiles getting declined as well. Fast forward to recent times, and I have been seeing people with thin files and newer credit getting approved for it. Wasnt even going to try again till the end of next year since I just got approved for the Chase FU last week but last night I decided to try again after seeing a few other cases where people were approved after trying a few months later. Was approved for $6800 which is perfect since I dont plan on spending more than $500 on this card a month. Now Im really going to garden for at least a year 😅 I think I have a really sweet cash back setup in my arsenal and more credit than I would ever need lol. This time they pulled my EQ which was at 790. And I was 1/6, 1/12, 4/24 since my new Chase card hasnt been reported yet. Got the $200 sub after sepending $750 and %0 APR for 15 months. Utilization is at %1. Hope this helps some one else thinking about trying again. Cheers 🍻
