@Bryceman27
It could be that your "potential" DTI is high also your avail credit is more than equal to your income.
Some banks get trickier when you have a lot of open cards with big unused balances. They are always trying to mitigate risk. If you find yourself having trouble growing this account in the future, then consider closing other accounts with limits you dont need or self lowering some limits. I've done that before to grow other cards.
overall exposure does matter and depending on your credit profile, some banks do not like to see you "have too much available credit relative to income" I've personally been denied for it before and it happened when i had 140k in income and about 200k in CL.

thank you for this insight and look at it, I didn't really think much of that TBH as I haven't had a SL this low on anything in quite some time.
My overall DTI is about 26%, so it's really not that bad. My limits have become what they've become over time with good spend and pay habits as well as good income. I've only ever had to POI with Amex, but that was because they wanted it to approve my last CLI. They countered to half of my request without POI, but I wanted it all so sent what asked for and was approved for the full CLI immediately.
Income is $188k before bonuses, roughly $210-235k pending bonuses year end. My available credit across all cards does exceed the pre bonus income, yes. However, it does not exceed my IRS reported incomes.
Congrats on the Approval!

Congratulations on your Citi approval!
