I've recently got approved for the Citi DC for $1000. It's much lower than all my cards, and I was wondering if I should ask for a CLI.

Congrats!

You can ask for CLI but remember it will be another HP.

When I applied. they gave me $3300 with a HP each on EQ and EX. Then when I activated my card I asked for a CLI to $15000 was approved with another HP on EQ.

Congrats on the approval!  Same here, I attempted to recon to get a higher limit and they threatened another HP.  I declined. :--0

If you have another citi card you can combine limit.

I received an invitation to apply for the Diamond Preferred today as well. I really shouldn't have applied but I really just wanted an in with Citii and since its no annual fee I though why not. I went on the site to see if I was pre-approved but I wasn't. I applied anyway and was approved (to my surprise) for 1600. Low limit but I really don't know how much I will use it. They must be feeling the XMAS spirit already. Congrats to you as well.
