Rebuilding after chapter 7 bankruptcy discharged December 31st 2019. I I got the pop-up for the Good Sam visa when I was shopping on their website and I did accept with only the last four of my social but it was a hard pull which was okay.
I had to wait for a verification letter which I got and I answered the questions and I got approved for $1,000 limit.
card came yesterday and I set it up online but it showed me with no available credit with $1,000 limit.
so I assumed that they had already closed it for some reason that spooked them so I sent a secure message to find out what the heck was going on.
they said my card wasn't activated so they gave me a separate phone number which I called and talked to a customer service rep and he manually activated my card and then my credit immediately showed up.
the guy was really helpful and he told me it's some kind of glitch in their system and it happens all the time that when people try to activate their card online it will never show any available credit unless they call in and request that it be activated manually.
just a heads up in case this happens to anybody else.... I got a little stressed over the whole deal but it seems to have all worked out!
