Having read alot of strings about using the phone system for increases I thought I'd give it a try on my Pier1 card. This card sat at $3250 since I got the account about a year ago. At initial account set up I hit the luv button repeatedly from the original CL of $2300>$3250. Then this weekend I used the phone system over and over again (+$750 each time) until it reached $8,500. It was so much fun. It only worked on my Pier1 card, the others (I tried them all) didn't work. I think it's because they'd all recently received CLIs.
WTG! Congratulations!

An increase via phone only worked when I answered, "No" for a requested amount.
Yes! I forgot that detail. I never tried with a specific amount, I always said "no" when prompted if I wanted a specific amount. Worked like a charm. Repeatedly.

That's what I did for my Bon-Ton and went from 500 to 10,400. I tried all my other cards and only received 2 increases of 300 each, the rest said they were unable to approve my request. Still it was mind blowing to see the Bon-Ton card increase by 9,900 dollars.
Does this work with the Comenity Visa's?
