Considering CSP application EDIT: APPROVED!

I've been wanting the CSP for a while now... I recently checked Chase's site for an offer, and there's one for Slate and Sapphire Preferred.  I've had a Freedom with them since March of 2012.  I think my biggest hurdle will be having an existing $5,000+ CL, although many have been approved without that.  Would Chase consider that fact (not having a $5,000 CL) before "prequalifying" me?  I know these things are very hit and miss, just looking for some guidance.  My scores, AAoA, etc. are in my signature.  Current util is ~2.5% of total CL, only a balance on one card (9% of that card).

Thanks in advance for your input!

Card/Limit/Opened — Discover it: $27,600 2/14 | Chase Sapphire Preferred: $10,500 7/14 | Banana Republic Visa: $10,000 7/14 | USAA Cash Rewards Visa Signature: $9,000 6/11 | Chase Freedom: $2,000 3/12
History — AAoA: 42 months | Oldest account: 119 months (including AU) | Inquiries: 1 EX 0 EQ 0 TU | Score: 765 (Discover TU) 750 (USAA CreditCheck Monitoring EX FAKO)

Honestly with your scores, I think you are fine.  You don't have a high limit on the Freedom but you've had the card for over 2 years and they likely set the limit then based upon your risk.  Your risk has changed in 2 years and if you have had a good relationship with Chase then I don't see why they wouldn't approve the CSP for you.

Re: Considering CSP application... thoughts?

Thank you all for chiming in!  I'm heading to a branch this morning to apply and (hopefully) get approved with the slightly better spending requirement for the bonus.  I'll update this in a bit with results!

Well, everyone, I was APPROVED... and CA was RIGHT.  My limit is $10,500.  I called to have it expedited as well.  Can't wait!  Chase must like me now, and I like that Smiley Wink

As a side note, I definitely agree with nachoslibres about growing with them internally since I got my Freedom two years ago.
