Re: Costco Visa Approved $9,500 CL

I thought my "app spree" was done after getting approved for an Amex Blue Cash Preferred. We need to go to Costco today and I have seen all the news about the new visa. I did some research on what other Visa cards I had and if I could squeeze enough rewards out of them if I used them at Costco without applying for yet a third card in one week. Turns out owning a Costco Visa gives you the best rewards IF AND ONLY IF you include the 4% cash back on gas purchases. Sure 2% back on Costco purchases is nice if you spend thousands of dollars there per year. But Costco is not part of our main food budget, so I had to take into account the 4% gas and it turned out to be enough cash back to pay for the Costco Membership Fee every year. So, long story short, I applied and got it. My other two visas are the Chase Marriott and the Hilton Honors Visa.

My approvals for the week are:

Chase Slate: $3200

Amex Blue Cash Preferred: $11,000

Costco Visa: $9,500

FICO Score: 741.
