LOL! He doesn't have competition. I don't think anyone can 'touch' Creditaddict's status. He's a credit legend on here.

His reputation proceeds him, but I think the student might be becoming the teacher....bahahaha :stirring the pot:: Smiley Happy Smiley LOL

LOL I actually thought that when I read your posts. I was like oh no, the pot is being stirred. Honestly speaking, I don't know much about credit or 1/2 as much as these seasoned experts do. I just find the cards cool and how each has a certain benefit over the other. But I think i'm done for now until the next shiny cool card comes out..

The folks around here are generally pleasant, won't jump down your throat, and will offer you professional/personal and experienced advice.  You were smart to stop by..... LOOK, A SHINY OBJECT! Smiley LOL

I had to Google that one....it's bourbon.   My usual bourbon of choice is Wild Turkey.

And back to our regular programming.   OP, congrats on SM approval and AMEX CLI success!   You are on a roll!

Thank you SunriseEarth Smiley Happy Believe it or not, only Barclay did a HP and my credit score on CK decreased by 3 Points. Other than that nothing has changed as of yet. I think right now I'm good with the cards that I have. The only one i'm not happy with is the Citi TYP card.. but will just live with it. Have you applied for any new cards?

Well...Overstock.com just happened to offer me their store card on popup and I took it!   The CL is $4300 and now I can take advantage of their special financing...and it was from an SP.   I'm waiting until next year before I apply for any more bankcards.   I'm planning on a spree once the BK is gone....Chase Freedom, Discover, BoA BBR, Sallie Mae, and maybe the Golden 1 CC for dining.

Congratulations on your Overstock.com approval!! That's great news Smiley Happy Your next cards sound great.  I haven't heard of the Golden 1? I just saw other mentions of the U.S. Bank Cash+ and Huntington Voice CCs. What do you think about those cards?

Thank you!

Dining-Restaurants is getting nerfed on Cash+ (they split "Restaurants" and "Fast Food" into separate categories; I wonder if that excludes Bars & Cafes?).   Plus, many people don't like dealing with US Bank.   I've heard good things about Huntington, so if you're in their footprint, it'd be worth it.   Golden 1 is a CU in Northern/Central California, but there are other options for joining.   They have a great rewards CC that is worth consideration (3% dining!).

Oh nice! 3% on dining is great. Thank you for your opinion. Yeah the US Cash + seems like it was a good card but now it may be too much of a hassle to bother with. What I like about Huntington is the no foreign transaction fee and the categories seem decent. I just googled the Golden 1 and it looks great. I hope you get approved! Keep us posted! Smiley Happy
