Credit Application

I recently(last week) had two Capital One CL increased by $1000 Each.  I have seen my credit score rise roughly 50-90 pts over the last 8 months due to regular payment and usage.  All three scores are hovering bewteen 575 - 688

My questions is, is it beneficial to wait longer until my new CL reflects the increase on credit report before I apply for new credit, or would the increase show when I try and apply for my next card say today?

Re: Credit Application

I just got increases on both my Quicksilver and Venture. It posted as an account change today at the same time the account reported. I would wait until your account reports to make sure the increase is noted on your account.

Re: Credit Application

More info needed

What cards are you looking to get because looking at EX score which is low unless you think it will take a big jump

The other 2 scores are ok but EX is pulled by so many lenders it would help to narrow your search by what cards you want

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Re: Credit Application

I had a lot of faith, applied for the Barclay's Reward, no annual fee. Was approved for $1900

Thank you Fico forums

Re: Credit Application

Congrats! Like MJ mentioned, it's good to know what creditor pulls which bureau. Im in a similar situation as you. Experian is my lowest score. Unfortunately, here in Cali, almost everyone pulls experian. I think it's a conspiracy!

Congrats on Barclay approval☺

Re: Credit Application

Congrats on the rise in scores. I'd make sure the info has reported first. It will improve your chances not only for approval, but for a higher SL.
