For 2020, I needed to get into shape with my business credit (I was using personal cards for business expenses).
I decided to apply for several (I think I applied for 12 +/-) new cards (before freezing my accounts again) on November 4th, I received more than I though I would and only had a few inquiries post on my account. Especially since I know many CC companies do not want to approve cards in the same years, let alone days.
My scores at the time were EQ 704, TU 714, EX 707. I have taken great strides to pay off my total $50k in credit card debt in from Feb to Dec 2019. All cards will be 100% paid off by Dec 31, 2019! But I do have them set up for autopay on my monthly bills and then auto payment for cc payment due dates.
I applied and was approved for:
- AMEX (Platinum Business, Platinum Personal, and Blue Business Plus - $5k)
- CHASE (Reserve Saphhire - $11k and Ink Business Preferred - $5k)
- APPLE Card - $5k
- Alliant CU CC - $15k
- PenFed Platinum Rewards - $7.5k
- Discover IT Miles - $5k
Out of the CCs approved, the AMEX Personal Patinum, Chase Sapphire Reserve, PenFed Platinum, and Apple card was auto approved. However, I did have to speak to the CC reps for the other cards, edpected to get denied since I was just approved for cards, with them (especially Chase and AMEX) and outside of their company, but low and behold I got approved!
Additonal CC Wins
- Received an upgraded CC from NFCU from Go Rewards to Flagship Signature Card due to my credit history with them. (no CLI yet)
- Received an auto CLI from Paypal of $1500
- Received an auto CLI from SDFCU CC of $2500

Yes, I am gardening until after closing on my house when I return stateside mid-late 2021, went back and froze my CBs right after to ensure I don't do nothing else. LOL
