Amex must know something, because it's been reported that the Credit One Amex has access to Amex offers, similar to other cards that use the Amex payment network but are issued by third parties, like the Well Fargo Propel or the Navy Fed More Rewards. The offers given to third party cards aren't as good as the ones on cards issued by Amex themselves, but they are offered through Amex.

It is not just the offers from my understanding credit one is the only lender that gets all the perks as well like extended warranties etc.

Congrats on your approval! And good call to take the plunge. 👍
@christine123 That's good information to know. Let's see if we make it to
$5000.
After my ch13 was discharged I kept checking the pre-approval for Amex every few days and was denied and always came back suggesting to apply for the Amex Credit One Bank and I almost did. I think a week later I did another pre-approval and many cards from Amex came back. I applied for the Gold Card and was approved then a couple days later was approved for the Blue Cash Everyday Card. You could try again in a couple weeks and see what happens. I was approved within 30 days of my discharge and my scores were in the mid 700s.
Congratulations on your approval.
