I don't know why I keep applying when I got over 10 CCs in the past 6 months. I think I need to join CC Anonymous. I did apply for this card 6 months ago and got denied so I guess I was thrilled when I got pre-approved and couldn't resist. Does anyone know if I don't use it, it will still help build my credit but not be charged the AF?

"10 CCs in the past 6 months." And you went with Credit One?? Why?

I get your looking for nice card with good rewards and decent CL, but the way your doing it is the opposite way!

I'm not going to congratulate you on a crappy card that has a horrible reputation as a bank and then read about your next post why you keep getting denials!

Stop apping for trash cards and garden for few months.

IF you garden for 1 year, guarantee you going to have better card then everything else you got so far.

I'm not trying to be negative at all. Your goal is to have a better card, better limit and better score! So keep the eye on the bigger picture and stop going after these predatory lending banks that you'll be closing as soon as you realise what they are.

Good luck. ❤️

Re: Credit One CB AMEX.... approved!

@CYBERSAM I usually defend Credit One when these post come up, because I don't feel like they are a particularlly egregious example of a sub prime lender, I have never had an issue with my no AF amex from them in 2 years. What I have said pretty consistently is the people that end up having problems with them, or get bad cards from them, likely deserve the card they get and the problems they have are likely self inflicted...

Reading OPs messeges I feel like they likely have the card they deserve...

They literally offer this exact card with no AF to people with no fico score, I know because I have it.
