First, I want to thank Lexie, Ron and all the other guys who helped me before! I joined this Forum on Dec, 2013. Before I found this forum I knew nothing about credit in U.S.. I am a new immigrant and I found everything is hard for me at first, I had to go to Chase branch to open my first savings and checking account, took me several trip to the At&T to get a phone, took 6 months time to attempt my first credit card. I finally got my first two credit cards with Discover Student (500CL) and Chase Freedom (600 CL) on 11/26/2013. Then I found this forum, which taught me a lot how to build credit. On Dec 21, 2013, When my first Freedom cycle cut and reported to EX, which generates a FAKO EX 720. I want to lock the MSD, it is your guys gave me the courage to apply for AMEX. I opened a thread and ask you guys about it back then. You told me to apply Green first to set foot in and if approved try my dreaming card BCP on same day! I followed your guys instruction and applied and got instant approved for both card. And with 2000CL BCP and locked my MSD! Then I learned about the AMEX backdated policy, I applied SPG and also approved after calling for DOB with 2000 CL. A few days ago, I learned about the DCU 's free EQ, so I joined the DCU. On Feb 11,2014. My SPG reported to all 3 bureaus, I got AAOA bumped up to 4 months and longest account 1.1 year and got my FICO EX for 713! Yesterday, I asked for Amex BCP 3X, denied. This morning, I applied for CSP, and instantly approved for 5000CL. 

My credit history:

11/26/2013, got Discover 500, Freedom 600.

12/21/2013. got Green, BCP 2000,

01/07/2014, got SPG 2000.

02/21/2014, got CSP 5000.

That's all my U.S. credit history!

I really want to thank you guys, especially Lexie and Ron and many many other members who replied my question a lot! I will graduate May, 2014 and start my first job at Amazon in Seattle. I will get married this summer, so I got plenty works to do now. I will return to this forum maybe later next year when the time for my first mortgage.

Although my credit card journey is end for now, I will never forget this forum and all you guys!

First up, Congrats on the new Amazon job coming up in May. It's not that far off now.

You have some nice starting CC's and limits and it's clear that you respect & highly appreciate the opportunities afforded you and will guard n nurture them (and others) very well.

I personally am especially happy for you because starting a successful credit journey can be rocky at best without useful help & guidance.

This forum and it's membership contributions go a long way in offering us all a way to make more informed & responsible financial credit decisions, if taken seriously.

Wow, I did not think that was even possible to get the BCP and CSP with only 3 months of credit history. Definitely going to give me more confidence when I apply for the BCE when I hit my 6 month of credit history.
