Was approved for DCU Visa Platinum Card 10k @ 18% this morning. I've had account opened with them for almost 1 year with my savings account balance hovering at the $0.30 mark. I logged in to check offers as I totally forgot account was open. The platinum card was not an offer and it was instantly approved after I sent in paystub. Entire process took less than 10 mins.
While on the phone I expect to be in the market for an auto loan and the rep told me it is not an additional hardpull to check my auto rate so I figured why not check my rate. Apprvoed for 40k at 6.49% for 65 months after of course I upload purchase agreement and open a checking account otherwise rate is 6.99%. I was happily surprised as I'm still rebuilding. Other highest credit card is Apple at 3k and I have a couple others around 1500-2k. I burned all the big guys with my BK.
