i called DCU today to ask about doing a BT for $2760 from xmas shopping i did yesterday. my cl is 7.5k and while going thru the process i mentioned how i was gonna do the BT to my NFCU cc because my cl was 10k and it was better for my utl but the apr on that card is 2.99% higher them my DCU card so thats why i wanted to do it with them and she put me on hold for 2 mins and BAM! they matched my CL to my NFCU cc lol im not even gonna carry that and will pay it off this 15th. two cards with 5 digits cl now i now see why people in here say its better to have fewer cards with big cls then a lot of them with small ones.

You can definitely close some card you have. I see a lot of overlapping credit card. Pretty sure you can cut some store cards and credit cards without doing much to your spending pattern.

Yes, I love DCU too for the fact that they gave me one of the biggest starting credit limits out of all of my other cards.

I absolutly love DCU!! They gave me a card years ago when no one else would....they got me started back a few years ago to rebuild. Now they give me personal loans without even doing income check.

I asked for $4000.00 for a motorcycle for my wife and they gave me the check the same day without any hassle at all!!
