Bummer OP... that's too bad! Mine was an address verification issue and system glitch that eventually got corrected after several calls and CR updates, but eventually approved for both (the 2nd one more or less as a fluke of the whole issue).
Thats unfortunate that they wouldnt let you send in documentation to verify. 80 points? just for that app? wow thats a lot.

I'm thinking the 80 points wasn't correlated just to this app. I would doubt one inquiry would bring the whole house down LOL.

Good Point! And i don't think OP specified either. That large number may (hopefully) just be a FAKO indicator not FICO. And they can likely be approved with the correction on a new app. This is why it is vitally important before applying for any credit lender to have your reports in front of you and enter your data EXACTLY as reflected on them letter for letter. The least single symbol can kick out an otherwise good application

Not really. I got to a point where I was at 1 INQ on my TU and then apped the SallieMae. My CK score only dropped 4pts and my TU FICO only dropped 2pts.

Yeah 80 is pretty extreme and would indicate other factors are in play. Sudden report of High Util rise maybe? We just don't know until OP clears that up for us if they want. A simple 1 or 2 apps wouldn't do it.

Seem's like these types of pull's typically drop the score anywhere from 2 - 15 points range maybe there's something that the OP is unaware that's related to this.
