they definitely pulled EX. It says if i have any questions to call this 844 number. Im going to let it ride and see what happens. i applied before back in the spring when hype was big and declined but I cant remember what the page said. besides inquiries, EX is good and I have some 15, 17, 20, and 30k limits already.

Looking back over some of the other BBVA NBA threads it sounds like it might be verification for under review and they will contact you. One of my co-workers apped this earlier today and got the same message. His scores are solid in the 760's. No negatives or baddies. No way he's not getting approved. So let them contact you and hopefully it's just verification. It looks like the 7 to 10 day message is the kiss of death on this one either for having EX frozen or for a denial.

I'm in the same boat. App'd for this card last week since Barclays pulled me out of the garden. My scores are higher than OP's GF, so hoping I get past verification and get a nice $5K+ starting limit.

Even if you call, they'll make you wait until verification reaches out to you.

The good news is that I applied 7 days ago, and have yet to receive a denial in the mail, so I think I have a chance! Here's one story of it taking 11 days from app to approval:

I'd let it ride and see what happens. I can't imagine that you won't get approved for this one. Pretty sure they need to do verification of some sort and calling them won't help . You just have to wait for them to reach out to you. One of my co-workers apped today and is waiting for the same. DGF's mom apped last week and got the 7 to 10 day and it ended up being a denial.

Yeah I don't want to app for much more for her. I did take a chance and apped her for Barclays and got an approval there. So now she's got two QS1's 1 at 300 and one at 500 that I'll try to get CLI's on and then the steps increase and a Platinum @ 500, a couple Comenity store cards (just a few), the BBVA Amex @ 5K and now a Barclay's Rewards @ 1K. She's a member at NFCU but while her score is starting to get climb they still have shot her down for an unsecured card at this point. I think I'll just garden and grow what she has and try to clear some of her CA's (some are pretty small ) through PFD's. Think I have her on a pretty good path at this point.
