I had an appointment with US Bank today, got an application via mail. I called them to explain my BK 2 years ago and that I wanted another bank other than CAP1. They said I could apply for a secure card...well I decided not too. My total line of credit with all my cards are at $44,200...at about 5-6% utilization.  Got an invite from Discover. Did the pre-approval and the Discover it popped up.  Looked like 23.24% apr after 1 year. First year 0%.  Well I read a few post and decided to use the mail invite...guess what happened

Congratulations!!!! Great starting limit! I went the secured route last year, and mine is already unsecured and I have gotten 2 increases.....Discover Rocks!!!!

I was denied last year in June. Approved in January for $5,500. So you just never know!
