Decided to jump the gun

Woke up this morning and I was like what the heck tomorrow is New Years eve so I might as well just try. I decided to app for the chase sapphire preferred and was approved for 5000$. It is a little less than my ritz and one of my Amex cards but it will have to do! I can't believe they approved me! I was denied but asked for recon... I can't believe about 3 months ago I wanted to get my foot in the door with chase with a chase slate card!! Aghhhh so excited! Now I got all my cards I wanted to app for! Now I'm the garden I go!!!

Re: Decided to jump the gun

If I wasn't going for the Chase Marriott next year, CSP would definitely be a card I'd consider. When I've gotten the most use out of my Ritz card and it's been a while, I think that's when I might go for it. Congrats.

Yes, that would be some serious gun jumping, applying for something the day before New Years Eve when it's also December 23. But your time machine apparently worked very, very well you whenever you did it! Congrats!
