I suspect approval limits might be more based on credit profile rather than Diners trying to "match" highest limits.

My highest limit was only 15K but my credit profile was very strong: TU FICO 808, 0 inquires, AAoA 8.5 years, and 1% utilization.

The Elite.

This card will be enough for me, but it is tempting to know I could app for the Premier and likely get another 40K.

Cool beans!! I don't know alot about WEMC but from I'am reading on here, its a pretty cool card...I was thinking about app'in for the Barclay WEMC, but I dont know if they are dishing out hefty limits right now compared to Diner's Club
