Discover - $2k SP CLI

Quickly checking up my discover account transactions and wanted to get some luv on my 2nd discover card lying at $25k CL. 

Submitted the SP CLI and it showed 'Account will be reviewed".

Got the call and spoke to CSR.

They gave 3 options

1)Move some of my 1st discover card($50k CL) credit limit to 2nd card - Said NO 

2)Close the 2nd card and move the $25k CL to the 1st card - Said NO. why would I do it? it's always nice getting 5% cash back categories on 2 cards. 

3)Increase $2k CLI on the 2nd card. Voila. Said YES.. that's what I wanted. 

Updated CL showed on the card account online as $27k.

Congrats on the CLI. I like the 3rd option best too even though I will be combining both of my Discover's soon.

why would you want to combine 2 into 1? for big CL?

if not, I think, having 2 cards is good

1. 5% categories
2. If available, 2 cards get your 0% purchase apr for 12 months - I got this 2nd time in a row after getting them as the new card. I think discover is best in giving this promotional offer (0% apr for purchases). Not seen in any other cards so far.
