Yes, I do mainly use the gold for dining. Some using resy and then there are usually a few amex offers for local places to eat. The dining credit is worthless to me since removing Ruth's Chris. I figure that I am able to offset/surpass the dining credit by using a few offers.
Frankly, I have more cards than I need for my spending patterns... but I like options.

I've been getting various service offers from them recently and I think twice have received some balance transfer checks.. maybe since I didn't respond to any of that, they're thinking this may coax me more into their waters with my spending. I like a lot about discover.. The rotating categories aren't a great match for me, but I can certainly use a couple of them (when I remember what/when they are).
