I don't have two Discovers because both of their other main options would be redundant for me. 1.5% (Miles card) or 2% on gas and dining (Chrome) isn't exciting enough to warrant the new account for me (and having to have two logins). The only plus is the first year doubling, making Miles a 3% card and Chrome 4% on dining/gas, but meh. Just not worth the app for me right now.
Congrats.. Yes first year doubling is the bomb.. After I have the IT for a year will be going for miles to get another double for first year. I will have put 2k through the IT by the time it is a month old and plan to put a few k a month through it due to the 10x or 2x back.. Can't really beat that other than SM and others that bring more benefit for certain things and of course hitting my 10k on Ritz, etc..

Makin' another new run all good!
Awesome 12njoy and congratulations on picking up Discover #2.
Congrats! I'm sure it will grow!!!
Congrats, 12! Don't hear much about having multiple cards with Discover, so thank you for the informative post!
Congrats! That double cash back promo is amazing! So theoretically, one can get DISCOVER IT the first year, get a DISCOVER CHROME the 2nd year, and the DISCOVER MILES the 3rd year. That's a lot of cash back within a 3 year span. Does anybody have THREE Discover cards? Lol
I didn't realize CHROME was still available.
