I figured now's the time to ask for a CLI, with Capital One's takeover still yet to take full effect. I got instant approval, though only for $1k. But considering my very low income, I'll gladly take it. The new CL is now $12,700.
Congratulation on your CLI approval.
Congratulations on the Disco increase!
Congrats on your Disco CLI !
Congratulations on your DISCO CLI @anewleafagain
Thats an awesome credit limit for low income. You'll grow more
Hope this doesnt come off as rude, however, please use responsibly. credit cards are very hard to pay off very large balances when you have low income. I got myself in a few messes more than i care to admit. the amount of interest you end up forking out is astounding. Fortunately, I have been fortunate to get things paid off.
If you haven't asked/gotten a CLI from them in a year or more, request twice more at 31+ days since you got the first CLI. They tend to have a pattern of triple monthly CLI once a year. Recently did this myself with close to 2k av increase each time from jan to march.
Thanks so much for all your congrats and advice. I don't post very often, but I'm always reading and learning from the amazing collective wisdom here.

Nice.
I hope we can avoid the motto: Discover giveth and Cap One taketh away.
Congrats on your credit increase from Discover. This is JMO, Capital one does not take any credit away they have not taken any credit from walnart mc from synchrony bank and now I have 19K limit on my savor account which was Quick silver that change from a walmart mc. Also their was very little use and some times nonths ago by with no charges.
