I signed up for the Discover It Secured Card just over seven months ago with the maximum allowed balance of $2500. Just got the email that my deposit is being returned to my account in 3 days and they gave me a small CLI to $2700!
I used this card for absolutely everything. Every time my balance went low, I would just reload it again several times each month. Some months were paid in full before the statement cut, and one or two months I carried a balance of over 90%. No bankruptcies, no collections, no CFAs, revolving utilization is 57%, and not a single late payment in almost 2 years.
