This is interesting to me. I applied about 10 days ago, denied for paid tax lien that is 6 years old, Called the number you posted tonight to ask for reconsideration and they said that they don't do that. ?????????????? Do you remember who you talked to.

When I called in the rep I spoke with confirmed my denial then tried to offer me a joint app for approval. I explained that I didn't have anyone to joint app with and that since my credit had change. She notified me that a repull would be required I agreed to the repull and was approved. Hope this helps.

When I asked for reconsideration he said that I had to wait for 30 days before he could pull another app.

I see the last posts are from February... I just called Discover to recon and was told that they do not reconsider... Should I keep trying, maybe the lady just didn't want to deal with it at the moment? Have their policies changed in the last few months?

Yeah I'm being told the same thing. "Ummm we don't really do reconsiderations?" Ok, why are you telling it to me like it's a question. Whatever. I hate that crap. Just be straightforward and say you do or don't, not "we don't really"...that implies that you do.
