Discover Secured Approved

I hopped out of the garden for a quick moment to apply for the Discover Secured.  I needed one more TL to make 3 cards for maximum rebuilding.  I currently have the QS1 ($500) and Capital One Secured ($200).

I had to upload 2 forms of proof (DL and SS card).  I then received an email 2 days later asking me to call in to verify some information.  I called, confirmed and they approved.  I deposited $500 and plan on asking for an increase within the next month or so.  I would like to get it close to the $2,500 max before (and if) it graduates.

They pulled EQ only.

My score is 609.

7 inquiries.

I have 6 medicals in collections and 1 CO for $54.

Back in the garden I go!

Thanks!  Username is the main reason I have been rebuilding.  So, yes, it sucks in more ways than one. :-)

Re: Discover Secured Approved

Congratulations. My Discover Secured Card arrived today after 23 days since the application was submitted. I too have the same strategy as you regarding the CLI.

Just wondering why you didn't go for the Cap1 Plat since you have the QS1? You should qualify for it with no problem and you would have the extra TL you wanted without spending secured monies.

The Plat will gradutae very quickly as I was supprised to discover this morning. I posted the following earlier about it'
