Discover additional increase.

I was for cli but with a cost of HP from $1200 to $3000 but the now I should have ask for more since my tuition for school is going to cost me at least close to $5k and I wanted to use the card. Would it be possible to ask again for additional increase? Please advise.

Did you specifically ask for 3000 or is this what the computer spit out.

That's what they gave me. But the interesting part of this is when I was talking to the lady she ask if that limit is ok. So it seems to me that they could have given me more if I have ask them.

You could call again and ask. Worst thing is they will just say no. Best of luck!

You can try. I did that ask for cli they give me 3000 increase thats last week from 750 to 3750, then last night I called them again and ask for another 5k. And got it. Btw its a SP on my second cli.

Ill call them next week and see what happen. Ill just probably ask for another 3k to make it $6k total. Plus, I need to use the card to pay for my tuition for fall.

AFAIK it is a minimum of 6 months interval for CLI. The question -'is that ok?' or something to this effect is scripted/ standard Discover lingo after granting an increase.

People have been reporting that discover has changed their cli policy to every 3 months...

They just gave me CLI after 3 months.

I believe the 3 month updated policy is for your first/initial credit limit increase request...after that I believe it goes back to every 6 months.
