Happy Friday folks!
Today (11/1) marks the 3rd month after opening my Discover card. I opened my car late August but wanted to see if it was 90 days after opening te account or if the 3rd month realy meant calendar month. I was approved for a modest CLI. I was at 1000 and it asked me if I wanted more, I asked for 5000 and only received 500, making my increase a total of 500.
I knew there were some data points for 2 increases aka double dip in the first day so I re-read some threads. It was indicated that you don't need to call, you can try it again online. I tried the luv button 3 hours later and was denied. Undettered, I called up support and the CSR offered me an additional 400 more to put me at 1900. I asked if we could make this an even 2000 
but she indicated this was all the system would allow me at this time.
tl;dr
3 months passed from opening, cli increase online from $1000 > $1500
luv button x2 - denial
called csr - $1500 > $1900
