Discover pulled through!! CLI

I am so incredibly happy and thankful to Discover. 

I requested a credit line increase online with Discover and was denied.  After reading on the forums, I wasn't sure how it would go.  Called the recon number and answered a couple of questions and was given an CLI! 

Stats:

Member since 2001

Initial CL:  $1300

CL until today:  $1800

CL as of today:  $2750

CS:  580

HP

I know this isn't a huge increase, but it's now my highest CL, and considering that it's been at $1800 for over 7 years, I'm happy with the outcome. I went through a super rough patch last year...had SL's with 90day lates and an old collection.

when you do it online is it a hard pull?

No, the online request was soft....the recon was hard.

Congrats!  You've been with them long enough that they ought to show you some love. lol  Otherwise, I'd be like "I'm outta here!!".

$700 since 2004????  I would be calling in and requesting a CLI now!  That is provided you've paid them well and don't have any recent baddies.

I just checked ops siggy, double congrats that you received a CLI with a sub 600 CS! Discover obviously weighed your pyt history with them over the SL's and did not hold it against you!

I like it when lenders see past numbers! Well done
