I’m hoping mine won’t take too much longer to graduate. I got mine in May with $200 and added $1000 more in July. I thought the minimum was 7 months and 1 day before the possibility of graduating?

I get close to the limit every month since all of our recurring monthly bills are charged to it but we pay it in full every month.

WF also unsecured my CC I had only had for 6 months and that I barely used while my daily card from BoA (which I got at around the same time) is still secured. My colleague's WF secured CC is his daily card and it is still not unsecured after 12 months. So it does look like it goes quicker when you barely use the card.

That what it seems like. Maybe they deem secured card holders are more risky with heavy usage. In a way, it makes sense.

My secured account was opened on March 24, 2018 with a $200 SL. My 7th statement closed on 10/2/18. Within 72 hours of my 7th Statement closing, they increased my CL to $2,000 and sent an email confirming that I'll receive my deposit back in 5-7 business days ... Which I ended up receiving in just 3 business days 😂

My strategy was simple......$7.99 Netflix recurring charge, AutoPay from my checking account 15 days before the due date, and I literally forgot about it until the graduating email came in.

My strategy today... Discover is my primary card given the generous graudation gift, holiday time and the rotating cateogory, and of course...the first year Cashback match. I'll hit the luv button right after New Year's to see if they want to maintain that position in the wallet! Their only competition would be AMEX Delta Gold which I'm shooting for next 🤣

I’m not sure if “light use” matters in terms of graduation. I had a $500 limit on mine and used it heavily every month, maybe running $1500 or so through it each month. I was shocked but mine graduated yesterday with a CLI to $2000. My 6th statement cut on 10/18.

I’ve recently seen a lot of posts about people graduating so I’m not sure what’s going on with Disco.

Many try to assess Disco's science. I am not convinced it can be done.... accurately.

I too am seeing a lot of graduating with the "$2,00 SL", myself included. Grateful for whatever it is that's happening lol...

Whatever the reason, Discover is giving out GREAT Chistmas gifts...

Have the secured Chrome for about a year with a $500 limit. Used it reasonably well, paid it off or multiple payments before due.

Still carry a balence this month...was ready to PIF with last paycheck, when I see in my email, I get back my deposit AND a bump to unsecured with a SL $2k.

Now, I got a daily driver until I can convince Capitol One to at least match it...QS1 and only $500 line. Meh....LOL.
