I was blown away today when applying for the Gold Delta AMEX and the EveryDay AMEX yesterday to be approved for both with a CL of $10K for the Delta and $1K for the ED - I had to share my approval as I am excited - this is officially the highest CL I've had in my credit history!
I've spent the 18-20 months recovering from being robbed of most of my personal belongings alongside some other financial and life hardships. I feel like I've climbed out of those holes and worked hard to get to the point where I am now (Experian was 773 and TransUnion was 775 before I apped, they only pulled Experian).
For me the CL is great but I am planning on paying in full on all of my accounts as I have been doing for a while. Going to use the new AMEX cards a ton until I hit the welcome offer requirements (60K Miles for 2K spend on Delta and I believe 20 or 25K MR for 1K spend on the ED). Now I'm 100% in the garden for the foreseeable future
