Ebates Visa Siggy Approval, plus Walmart CLI (Credit Solutions)

I apped for the E Bates Visa Siggy last week, and got an instant approval. Has to call in to find out limit because they initially give you a temporary limit (1k). Card was approved for 5k. I was hoping for a higher limit, so I called in to Credit Solutions and was told I need to wait for the card to arrive to re-con the limit. I am hoping to get limit to 10-12k.

While on the phone, I asked for a CLI for my Walmart Discover which has been stuck at 7.5k for almost a year. Everytime I click the luv button online I get a message saying they can't grant  approval online, then I get a letter saying it exceeds the limit their policy allows. I asked for a CLI to 12k, and it was granted.

If I get the Ebates limit raised, I will cancel my Dillard's AMEX because I never use it. That will leave me with a 3 GECRB products: Lowe's, Wally Discover, and Ebates.

Congrats on the CLI. I'm not sure if you should close the card. Shold leave it open until the lender close it.

The Ebates card came yesterday, and I was able to call Credit Solutions and got limit raised to 12k. I did not cancel Dillard's AMEX, I don't know why it is so hard for me to make the decision to close accounts.
