Evidently Discover doesn't hold a grudge. Approved for 11k!

My afternoon consisted of a mental tug o' war. Should I, shouldn't I? I did. I was on a Discover card 15 years ago as an AU. It didn't end well for the primary. The grantor closed the account. Today however, that's water over the bridge of fools, in the eyes of Discover. I applied for an IT ...and was immediately approved for 11 grand. Thank you Discover, and thank you EX & EQ..the primary pulls. Happy about that because people, EX is Discover's fave go to HP. I also have 15 inquiries on TU so this was it for me for two more years.

congrats, but why would they hold a grudge against you? You didn't owe them money. I don't know of any creditors that blacklist an AU.

Normally, creditors do not hold the AU responsible for a credit card default. If it does show up on your credit report you can send them a letter to have them take it off as you were only an AU. The primary on the other hand may be screwed ;-)

Discover absolutely holds grudges. I’m living proof. But as an AU, the OP was in the clear.
