So, FINALLY I AM APPROVED!!! Over the past 15 years, I've gone through divorce, identity theft, and other issues that messed up my credit. Fast forward to 2 years ago, I started to rebuild my credit again. No bankruptcy or anything, just started from scratch. I worked with the creditors and whomever else needed to get my scores up. I was able to get Equifax up to the low 800s and Transunion to the very high 790s to almost 800s but that darn Experian will not budge. I have 1 chargeback from 4 years ago and identity theft that they will not remove. That has me at a 667 with Experian. I have gone on the Amex site to see if I prequalify at least 100 times over the past 10 years and they have never stated that I qualified for anything!!! So, yesterday I tried again, and BAM!! Amex Gold (rose) so I pulled the trigger and BAM!!!! got the 7-14 Days. Got a message this morning to call them back and "CONGRATULATIONS" APPROVED!!!
I am so excited!! My first AMERICAN EXPRESS CARD! I have almost 100k in credit cards but now I can add Amex to my collection. Anyone with questions, please feel free to ask
