Thank you all for the well wishes and great advice. So, I guess what I'll do is hold off on any apps until atleast December 2016. That would help age the inquiries and give me some history with Chase. By then, I should be good. Any suggestions on what to apply for then?

Many would suggest to wait a year before applying, but at least wait till your new CC is reporting for 6 mo. All you need is one good card that is reporting positive, no rush on app spree.

Most banks are becoming inquiry sensitive so take your time
