FNBO Amex SP CLI

Wow, did not expect that.

As per the advice of some other members here I called in after 4 months to see if I had a CLI available without a HP. I have run about 1000 through the card and stuck a BT on it the month prior.

Pre-qualified approval for CLI from 4100 - > 9100. Over 2x for a SP, can't beat that.

So for anyone else with this card, DEFINITELY call at month 4.

I wonder if their increases ever go above 5000. I rang after the first six statments and got an instant 5000 increase with a pull they had on file. Later I asked for 5000 again, but it was a hard inquiry. Many other threads I've seen show an increase of 5000, though mostly with the computer ready approvals. I have a 20,000 limit and would ask for 30,000 next time, but I've not had more than a 1000 balance on the card and haven't used it in almost one year.

Interesting info.  I'll probably never take a HP for a CLI on this card, but I'll happily take $5000 SP CLIs all day
