Congrats for your FNBO approval. Once you received the e-mail from them it is confirmed approved. However, without the card which they will send out you cannot enroll online yet. Once you received the card, you can click on the link ENROLL ONLINE to activate your account. So, you are good and you don't have to call them. Just sit back, relax and wait for the card to arrive.

For Sofi, however it is a bit different. I had a history with them before through the Personal Loan application before the recent credit card application.  I just found out the loan was made on 2018. For some some reason I kept thinking about 5 years ago. Like most members here, they always send out the message that they couldn't verify our identity or information. However, in my case they called me to verify me when I was oversea. Once that was processed, they approved the loan without any issue. Even after I paid it off, I am still considered being a member while not having any product with them. I did update my home address on my Sofi account after I moved. Since my information is already in the database, it is easier for them to verify me once I submitted the Sofi credit card application.  I couldn't tell you the exact  minimum score since they might look into something else.

Most review sites say 680+ but like I said, they are still looking at something else beside the score itself. The good thing is, they are using SP if you are not being approved. You can call them and find out the requirement or verify your identity. Maybe somebody from Sofi could help you. Good luck and congrats for the new FNBO card!

Congratulations on your Evergreen card. FNBO is a great bank in my experience, plus their CSRs are pleasant and efficient.

Don't panic if your new card doesn't arrive quickly. I think they are running a couple weeks on mailing cards. I say this because I was notified in mid October that one of my FNBO cards has been upgraded to a Visa Signature and the replacement card has not yet arrived. I called Friday to verify they were issuing a new card and was told yes and the new card was sent on the 26th but that I should give it 10 working days to arrive.
