I've had my Fidelity 2% Visa card since April 2017. Original SL was $11,500. Never received an auto CLI. Finally decided to request one last Friday. Oct 19th. Requested $25,000. Elan pulled my credit on Monday Oct 22nd. Kept checking my account and the limit hadn't been changed. Finally on Tuesday I saw that it had been increased to $16,500.
I had read that they don't counter so when I didn't see an increase on the same day they HP me, I thought they gave me nothing. Considering this is a subsidiary of USBank which gave me $500 approvals and wouldn't budge even on recon last year, I will take it! Also, they keep targeting me for different offers to use this card. Such as, spend $500 in 3 months and get $50, I've done that twice so far. This is a nice 2% card to fall back on when my spend doesn't get me any additional points or cash back on my other cards.
Congrats on the CLI! A 5K bump is definitely worth the HP.
Congrats on your Fidelity CLI!
Congrats!
Congratulations!
