Re: Final Credit Card Approved

Has anyone received an immediate approval, or all reviewed manually as stated in an earlier post?

Re: Final Credit Card Approved

Has anyone reconned this card successfully yet?  If so - do you have a good recon number for them?  I got my electronic denial letter from them today - and in it they state that my EXP credit score is 617.  According to MyFICO today - it's 662.

Re: Final Credit Card Approved

Wow! I hate this bank! So I try to make a purchase and they denied and and froze the account because they thought it was fraud, ok no problem. I get a email saying to verify the transaction and to submit my ID and proof of address, so I do that, 7 days later they finally respond and got this nice letter attached to the email! Just Awesome, like really?

This letter is regarding the above referenced Final Visa® Credit Card issued by First Bank & Trust account. Based on account activity, a decision has been made to permanently close your credit card account. You are responsible for the balance of the account.

Re: Final Credit Card Approved

Wasted a hard pull and dropping my AAOA. Really sucks but I'll take my business else where. I love my AMEX, so they will get most of my business.

OP, I don't know that the issue is that they don't like big spenders...you tried to spend $4k+ on a brand new card via PayPal.  Sorry but that is just risky when you card isn't even a month old.  I'm not saying you were doing anything wrong...but this would raise a flag with most lenders.  You card is new and you were trying to max it out almost immediately.

Re: Final Credit Card Approved

Yes that seems understandable, I just never thought about it as I did it with BOFA, AMEX, Discover, when they were new but maybe because there bigger banks? But probably it was my fault. But I don't want a card that is gonna have a problem like that. I spent $1500 and paid it off after it post and went to do $4,500 and denied and it started. It's ok, live and you learn.
