Congrats. Keep an eye on things. From what I read on this forum Synchrony is very quick to closing mutiple accounts at the same time.

Grats on your approvals! I'm considering the Venmo card as well. I'm preapproved according to the app and my Bbva clear points that I'm using for 3% utilities will soon change to a basically 1% junk pnc card.

Re: Finally Back in with Synchrony!!

I'm definitely in the garden for at least a year. The question I am having is whether or not to ditch the AF cards i currently have: QS1, Misson Lane, Merrick, and Amex Optima. The QS1 is definitely in the bucket category. Mission Lane and Merrick are helping pad my available credit and will help with my utilization. Optima I feel helps me keep my foot in the door with Amex.

I will definitely be using the Venmo as my daily driver so my spend on all my other cards will be down to one small purchase a month. Thoughts?

I bank with BBVA and check my prequal on there and still nothing for me. I'm hoping that PNC will be more friendly. Sucks that PNC isnt grandfathering in any BBVA cards.

I'll most likely be closing my QS1. I don't think any of their cards would benefit me anymore.

Re: Finally Back in with Synchrony!!

Congrats! I am 2 years post bk discharge and Synchrony first approved me for the Amazon prime store card for $700 and a couple weeks ago, $550 in Paypal credit. Recently, I got a CLI for the amazon store card so my limit is now $1500.

A few days ago, the accounts listed on my bk that were included in bk for Synchrony were deleted from my report by them. I'm just glad they let me back in because they are the lender behind a lot of cards! However, with my history of bk and their recent behavior with closing down those with lots of cards, I think these two may be it for me with them for a long time!
