I filed BK in 2012 and Chase was IIB for about $23k. I did not have a Chase credit card but they bought Wash Mut who I did have credit cars with before my BK. My Ch 13 was discharged in 2019 and I stalked the Chase preapproval site for years wondering if I was blacklisted and if they would let me back in. I always received the message:
"We are unable to locate any offers for you at this time.
This may be because you have opted out of "pre-screened" offers from Chase and other companies or you have recently responded to another offer from Chase."
I found out how to remove the opted out even though I don't remember opting out for anything on credit cards. Tfo this day it states the same thing. In the last year I received 3 mailings from Chase stating that I was pre-selected for the CSP. Since it did not state pre-approved I did not act on them. I finally recevied another one for 80k point SUB and decided to go for it. To my surprise I was approved for $12,500 CL. I always felt the CSR was the best card out ther and I hope to product change in about a year. I am surprised I got back in so there is hope for those who have IIB Chase. It was a long road but I'm back with Chase (who I was only with by default before).
