I opened this card back in Oct or Nov of 2013 and its been stuck at $300 (felt like Target). I've tried online multiple times with no luck, I even tried Credit Solutions via phone a few times with no luck. I was even denied an increase during a call where I received $12k on my Lowes.
I noticed in the mail that one of the reasons they listed were no auto installment loan history on my report. I paid my car off early, Ally goofed and added some lates, I called them about it and instead of removing the lates they removed the whole TL. Fast forward to a few weeks later in June I bought a beater car (Prius Plugin) and now that its reporting I was able to go from $300 -> $2,500 on my Chevron.
BTW I have heavy usage on my Chevron and always PIF because filling up one of my cars is easily over $100.
CONGRATS!!!
Man, considering (from everything i read up to now) that it's a Chevron CC which historically delves out extremely light SL's, i would say you finally broke the iceberg! ![]()
Congrats!

Congrats!
I feel like I should have asked for $3k or $5k. I'll call back in Dec or Jan and will try to go higher. Anyone have any insight into the highest limits for the basic Chevron cards?
Congrats! Thanks for sharing.
Nice. That's a really big CLI there. GE can be really great when it comes to that stuff automatically.
Last I knew
Chevron Store Card 2500 Max CL
Chevron Visa, 5K Max CL.
DH has Store version, its been open 4 years now and he reached max CL on it in August of 2013. Credit Solutions has told him thats the max for the store card. I apped for the Visa Side few months ago and got approved for 1500 CL, so we are hoping to grow my side after a few years and then let go of his Store side due to the low limit.
You are doing good!
Wow.....Superb.....Congrats!!!
Congrats!!! Thats a nice bump from $300
