Finally applied for CSP

I've had the CSP on the Chase pre-approval site for ages, but since January I applied for Marriott (instant 18k) and Ritz (instant 7.5k) and already had freedom (4.5k). So that's 30k. I had the CSP on the pre-approval site yesterday. For whatever reason I didn't have any pre-approvals today for the first time. I'm not sure if it was because I didn't think it was going to be approved but I finally applied for the CSP. I've wanted it for a long time but never applied. Auto approved at 5k. I think I'm basically at Chase's internal limit. I thought I was going to have to call recon on this one. I had the number all ready and everything. I want in on those 40k UR points plus 5k for AU.

Now I'm seriously done for a while. This is seriously a bad addiction.

i wanted to add an AU at application but they don't live with me. Does that matter? It also only asked just for name and not SSN. I was going to add my mom. Any thoughts on that? Thanks

Congrats!

I recommend calling JP Morgan Priority line and doing the AU addition there. It's much faster than trying to do it online and you can even request the card be sent to the address of the AU that doesn't live with you. That's what I did for my dad and they just asked me some security questions before they were able to do so.

Thanks. I think I have just about every lender (points to sig). But I added my mom. I just called the recon number who transferred me to whatever department. It was pretty simple. I'm just surprised they don't take the SSN. I don't want the card actually sent to my mom. I just want the bonus points.

Re: Finally applied for CSP

Lately I've been using my Ritz card a lot. But usually Sallie Mae for gas/grocery. Cash+ for fast food and gym membership. Double Cash for usual non cat spend but been using Ritz for time being. The other ones not really. I try to use them every now and then to keep active. It just depends on the purchase and what card will give best reward. I only got CSP for the sign up bonus.
