No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
After learning so much from myfico I applied for some new credit cards ranging from 1k to 13.5k, No annual fee credit cards, and cards with very low APRs. Now my 2 oldest small limit cards were a Capital One Secured card and Credit one card. combined limits on both are $700, 24% and the annual fee coming up in January. Both cards haven't been touched in months. I finally decided to close them out as they served their purpose in getting my established.
Cap 1 was pretty easy they didn't fight me just wanted to know why I wanted to close, told them about my better cards and that I already have a QS card with them.
Credit 1 was difficult to work with almost like they couldn't understand why I wanted to close my account. They offered me 18% for 6 months, 100 credit line increase, and a 40-50 dollar annual fee ( IDR)
I feel better knowing these cards are close. I was worried about something getting charged and me not noticing it.
Congrats on your new cards.
Congrats!! I always feel better with accounts closed rather than SD too
Congratz expecially with standing strong to Credit One
